The Battle of Marr-Adetta Starzone (Part One) (Japanese: マル・アデッタ星域の会戦（前編）) is the 71st episode of the Legend of Galactic Heroes OVA.

Synopsis
Reinhard von Lohengramm decides to accept Alexandre Bewcock's challenge head on and sends most of his fleets to the Marr-Adetta Starzone where the Free Planets Star Fleet is making its last stand. The Marr-Adetta Starzone has unstable solar activity and an extremely dense asteroid belt. The Star Fleet hides in a corridor composed from a gap in the asteroid belt. As the Imperial fleets charge in, they are greeted by unstable asteroids, ship barrage attacks, and space mines. The Star Fleet is astute and attacks from unexpected areas within and behind the belt. On 16 January 800 UC (2 NIC / 491 IC / 3600 CE), The Imperial Fleet is in the middle of an unexpectedly difficult battle.
