Sanders (Japanese: ザンデルス) was an Imperial commander who served as a long-time adjutant to High Admiral Adalbert von Fahrenheit, from at least the Battle of Astarte (796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE)). He was killed when Fahrenheit's flagship, the Asgrimm, was destroyed during the Battle of the Corridor.

History

During the Imperial Civil War in 797 UC (488 IC / 3597 CE), Sanders was a lieutenant serving as the adjutant of then-Vice Admiral Adalbert von Fahrenheit, siding with the Lippstadt League. He took part in the battle outside of Geiersburg Fortress, which resulted in a rout of the Lippstadt forces. (LOGH: 'Courage and Loyalty')

He and Fahrenheit survived the battle, and later were accepted into service under Reinhard von Lohengramm. Sanders was promoted to lieutenant commander sometime after that. He fought under Fahrenheit at the Battle of Rantemario in February 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE), during Operation Ragnarok, which resulted in an Imperial victory. In 800 UC (2 NIC / 491 IC / 3600 CE), having been promoted to commander by then, Sanders fought at the Battle of Marr-Adetta during the Second Alliance–Imperial War. The battle ended in an Imperial victory and saw the death of Alliance admiral Alexandor Bucock. In early 801 UC (3 NIC / 492 IC / 3601 CE), Sanders took part in the Battle of the Corridor, in an attempt to defeat Yang Wenli. High Admirals Fahrenheit and Fritz Joseph Bittenfeld arrived early, and despite Kaiser Reinhard ordering them to wait for him before attacking, they ended up being lured into the Iserlohn Corridor. When the Fahrenheit Fleet was caught in an encirclement by the Yang Fleet, its flagship, the Asgrimm, provided cover fire for the rest of the fleet as it broke out.
