The Canopus Starzone (Japanese: カノープス星域) is a starzone located within traditional Imperial territory. The first human interstellar colony was established there shortly after the discovery, in 2402 CE, of a habitable planet in the system. The departure of its first colonists in 2404 CE sparked significant debate in the United Earth Government over what level of autonomy to grant emigrants from Earth. (LOGH: 'To Earth')
