If someone could get an image up for Mückenberger or tell me how to do it that would be great. I think he deserves it especially since his lesser known father has one up. Thanks Strayor 15:27, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- I already had one uploaded, not sure why we weren't using it. I've added the picture (and a few minor biographical details) to the top of the article.
- By the way, if you're interested, you can find a list of un-used images at Special:UnusedFiles. If you ever get bored, you could go through them and see if they need placed into any articles. I know for a while i was just taking screen captures of anything that i found notable, so there might be some interesting things. There are also some cases where we have images in the article, but they need replaced by the higher-quality Blu-ray versions (see Machungo for example). ♥ kine @ 21:06, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for being so helpful. You guys go above and beyond and have quite the site to show for it. I'll do whatever I can to help with the story related aspects and I'll take a look through the images and see what I can dig out. Thanks again, and great work. Absolutely love this site. - Oops... looks like the image I found was not needed after all. I wonder how I missed the one that is already uploaded. >.> Glacierfairy 21:47, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
- I assume only screen grabs taken from the DVD's are acceptable, but if I'm watching online should I be taking a few screen shots to fill in some missing images? Because I just wrote it this is a fresh example for me to use, the El Facil Revolutionary Government page could use a picture of the EFRG's flags without Yang standing in front of them, or other elusive images could be tracked down as I watch through the series again. But again, I'm not sure what you quality standards are, or if you even allow sources from non official outlets. Strayor 15:55, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
- Our guide lines on images are at Policy:Images. We don't have anything official in there about quality, but i would very strongly prefer captures from higher-quality sources. We do occasionally use Nemesis and LaserDisc captures to illustrate animation and subtitle differences (for example, here), but otherwise almost all of the screen-shots that are actually in use come from the CA DVD rips or Blu-rays. ♥ kine @ 07:30, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
- I figured. Ok, I'll refrain from taking screen shots unless it is something that is absolutely needed. Thanks for the guidance. I'll get comfortable with all this eventually. Strayor 14:28, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
