Name

I noticed the other day when you were making this you seemed to be unsure of what to name it (or at least that's how it looked to me from the changes feed). Any reason why we've settled on this particular variation? The holiday is definitely called New Year's Day (possessive) according to Wikipedia and the governments of the UK, Canada, and US  ♥ kine @ 17:32, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Well, yeah, I was (and, to a degree, still am) a bit unsure. I had two reasons for settling on "New Years." First--no day. This way the page, small as it is, can encapsulate both New Year's Day, and New Year's Eve. Second--the plural. Basically, I figured that it's not one day for one new year--it's one day for FOUR new years. CE, UC, IC, and NIC. Since all four calendars use the same date and because there are multiple instances of having two calendars in use at the same time (or maybe three: I'd bet good money the Terraists used CE) the plural seemed more natural to me.
