The Tuesday Correspondence (788 UC (479 IC / 3588 CE))

The "Tuesday Correspondence" (Japanese: 火曜日通信) is the name given to a series of 36 letters delivered to the Strategical Planning Centre every Tuesday for 36 consecutive weeks in 788 UC (479 IC / 3588 CE); each letter was identical, and claimed that one of the Free Planets Alliance's greatest heroes, Bruce Ashbey, had been murdered, and had not died in battle as was commonly accepted. Each letter was signed with the name of Bruce Ashbey's deceased widow, Lucinda Ashbey. In October 788 UC (479 IC / 3588 CE), shortly after receiving the 36th and final letter, Alex Cazerne assigned Yang Wen-li, who was on leave at the time following his successful evacuation of the civilians in El Facil, to investigate the accusation.
