The Düren 8 (Japanese: デューレン８号) was an Imperial transport ship.

Service history

The Düren 8 participated in the Battle of Kyffhauser as a supply vessel in the Littenheim Fleet. It had the misfortune of being in the path of the Ostmark as Marquis Wilhelm von Littenheim made a disorganized retreat towards Garmisch Fortress.

Lieutenant Konrad Rinnesal was stationed aboard the ship. After surviving the initial attack, he treated the wounds of Konrad von Modell and transmitted a surrender and a request for asylum to the commander of the opposition, Siegfried Kircheis. The fate of the ship afterwards is unknown.
