The Gesir Bogdo (Japanese: ゲシル・ボグド) was the Alliance flagship of Vice Admiral Ulanhu.

Service history
The flagship of the 10th Fleet, the Gesir Bogdo participated in the Alliance invasion of Imperial territory. With Alliance supply lines cut off, the 10th Fleet was engaged by the Black Lancers. After taking significant casualties, Ulanhu managed to achieve a breakthrough to allow the remnants of his fleet to escape. However, the Gesir Bogdo was destroyed in the process, and Ulanhu was killed. (DNT: 'The Verge of Death (Part One)', 'The Verge of Death (Part Two)')
Design
The Gesir Bogdo, like most Alliance flagships, was a modified version of the Alliance's standard battleship design. As with the majority of Alliance flagships, key distinguishing features were the four antennae protruding from the dorsal, ventral, port and starboard side of the rear hull. Four additional armament emplacements were mounted to the port and starboard side of the upper-half of the vessel's prow. The Gesir Bogdo was visually identical to the 8th Fleet flagship, the Jagannath.

Background information
Gesir Bogdo is a figure in Mongol mythology, and the grandson of Esege Malan, the Creator.
Apocrypha
In contrast to the official English subtitles, the name visible on the starboard side of the ship is actually "Cesil Bogdo".
