The Skirnir (Japanese: サラマンドル) was the Imperial flagship of admiral Cornelius Lutz.

Service history
Flagship of the Lutz Fleet, the Skirnir's first campaign was the counterattack against the Free Planets Alliance's invasion of Imperial space in 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE) - engaging the 12th Fleet in the Bolthorn System before meeting up with the Kircheis Fleet and Wahlen Fleet in the Battle of Amritsar Starzone. In 797 UC (488 IC / 3597 CE) the Skirnir led the Lutz Fleet as part of the fleet of High Admiral Siegfried Kircheis during the Imperial Civil War, again alongside the Wahlen Fleet. The Skirnir's next campagin was Operation Ragnarok in late 798 UC (489 IC / 3598 CE), where the Lutz Fleet was under the overall command of High Admiral Reuenthal to capture Iserlohn Fortress in the Ninth Battle of Iserlohn. After the Yang Fleet quit the fortress, Admiral Lutz was ordered to remain behind and guard the fortress whilst the Reuenthal Fleet and Lennenkampf Fleet joined up with Fleet Admiral Lohengramm's main force. The Skirnir served as the flagship of Iserlohn's station fleet until January 800 UC (2 NIC / 491 IC / 3600 CE) and the Tenth Battle of Iserlohn, when a small fleet of the El Facil Revolutionary Reserve Force tricked the Lutz Fleet into leaving the fortress. Before the Lutz Fleet could return, the EFRRF forces took control of Iserlohn's defences, including the Thor Hammer, and fired on the returning fleet. The Skirnir managed to escape destruction, and the Lutz Fleet retreated. The Skirnir was then based on Fezzan. Its fate after Lutz' death is unknown. (LOGH: 'The Prodigal Sons Come Home')

The Skirnir's design resembles the Salamander and Forseti in general construction.
