The Alpha Centauri Starzone (Japanese: アルファ・ケンタウリ星域) is a starzone located within the Orion Arm of the Galaxy. It is the nearest starzone to the Earth's solar system. The Alpha Centauri starzone is home to a trinary system, including the stars Alpha Centauri, Beta Centauri and Proxima Centauri.
History
In 2253 CE, seven years before the invention of warp technology, the Earth Unity Government sent Alpha Centauri Expedition, a massive deep-space exploration vessel, to the Alpha Centauri Starzone. The vessel and all of its colonists disappeared without a trace. (LOGH: 'To Earth')
