History
Little is known about Cheikly's life and career, except that by 794 UC (485 IC / 3594 CE) he was already considered to be a fighter ace with skills matching or even rivalling that of Olivier Poplin and Ivan Konev. He participated in the Sixth Battle of Iserlohn in late 794 UC (485 IC / 3594 CE) where he scored a number of kills. (HBSHBL: 'A Hundred Billion Stars, One Ambition')
In 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE), he was posted to the 13th Fleet, where he participated in the Battle of Jafnhár in October 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE). During the battle, he was killed in action when his fighter, together with that of his combat partner Warren Hughes, was destroyed after being lured into the firing arc of an Imperial cruiser's main cannons.
