Rockwell (Japanese: ロックウェル) was an Alliance admiral who had the distinction of serving as the last Joint Operations Headquarters chief of the Free Planets Star Fleet. In the aftermath of the Alliance's defeat during the Alliance–Imperial War and the signing of the Treaty of Ba'alat, Rockwell was appointed to replace Admiral Dawson in that position under the pro-Imperial administration of João Rebelo. He commanded what remained of the Alliance military during the Lennenkampf affair, and afterwards blamed Rebelo for causing the events that led to the Empire's intervention. Rockwell and his subordinates mutinied against Rebelo as the Imperial Navy entered Alliance territory, killing him, though Kaiser Reinhard was disgusted by their shamelessness and had Rockwell shot.
