Baghdash (Japanese: バグダッシュ) was an officer of the Free Planets Alliance. Initially aligned with the National Salvation Military Council, he later defected to the Alliance forces under Yang Wen-li. Originally tasked with the assassination of Yang, he leaked false information about the movements of the NSMC 11th Fleet but was met with suspicion by Walter von Schönkopf, who confined him to his tank bed during the Battle of Doria. After the battle, he grudgingly agreed to defect to Yang's command, but was still distrusted by Julian Mintz.

After the Empire's invasion of the Alliance in the spring of 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE), he worked for Yang's faction in, including organizing the scheme to retake Iserlohn Fortress with the resumption of hostilities.
