History

As of 798 UC (489 IC / 3598 CE), around the time of Operation Ragnarök, he was an admiral serving on the National Defence Council of the Alliance. Like most of his colleagues Rockwell thought the Empire would only attack the Alliance through the Iserlohn Corridor and did not agree with Admiral Alexandre Bucock's (correct) claim that the actual invasion would be through Fezzan. Later, in the aftermath of the Alliance's subsequent defeat during the Alliance–Imperial War and the signing of the Treaty of Ba'alat (mid-799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE)), Rockwell was appointed to replace Admiral Dawson as Joint HQ chief under the pro-Imperial administration of João Rebelo. He commanded what remained of the Alliance military during the Lennenkampf affair, and afterwards blamed Rebelo for causing the events that led to the Empire's intervention. Rockwell and his subordinates mutinied against Rebelo as the Imperial Navy entered Alliance territory, killing him, though Kaiser Reinhard was disgusted by their shamelessness and had Rockwell (plus his men) shot.
