Service history
The Airget lamh served as a squadron flagship, and was part of the Yang Fleet by 796 UC (487 IC / 3596 CE). It engaged the 11th Fleet in the Battle of Doria Starzone, where Commodore Fischer's squadron participated in the encirclement of the 11th Fleet. (LOGH: 'New Trends', 'The Battle of Doria Starzone, And...')
In 798 UC (489 IC / 3598 CE), it defended Iserlohn Fortress at the Eighth Battle of Iserlohn, and again in the Ninth Battle of Iserlohn when High Admiral Reuenthal attacked the fortress as part of Operation Ragnarok from late 798 UC (489 IC / 3598 CE) to early 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE). (LOGH: 'Fortress vs Fortress', 'The Sounding of Gjallarhorn')
Joining the rest of the Yang Fleet in evacuating the fortress, the Airget lamh fought in the subsequent battles of the war leading up to the Battle of Vermilion in 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE). (LOGH: 'The Battle of Vermilion (Part One)', 'The Battle of Vermilion (Part Two)')
Decommissioning
By the terms of the Treaty of Barlat, the Alliance was required to dismantle all of its battleships and carriers. The Airget lamh was presumably dismantled under that treaty. (LOGH: 'The Magician Is Captured')

Background information
The name Airget lamh is a common Japanese misspelling of Airgetlám, the well-known nickname of Nuada, a king of Irish mythology. The word means silver hand and refers to the silver prosthesis that was fashioned for Nuada after his arm was lost in battle.

The Airget lamh was developed as an experimental ship to field-test ways to upgrade fire-power; the results would be applied to the later Triglav design. It was originally fated to be dismantled once testing was complete, but after the defeat of the Battle of Astarte it was decided to assign the ship to the newly formed 13th Fleet.
Its greatly expanded armament correspondingly greatly increased the demands placed on the power system. A large capacitor system was installed in the lower part of the midsection to help ameliorate this problem. This system could support 6 volleys at full firepower, but afterwards the firing rate had to be slowed down. The original plan called for the development of new high output generators, but this had to be revised after it proved difficult to develop such generators in a short enough period of time. As a result, the ship entered actual combat with limits on the number of full volleys it could fire.
The ship had extensive point defence guns on its flanks. These were 15 cm calibre laser cannons and were grouped into groups of 5. Each group would would track and pursue the same target.
The Airget lamh was ultimately dismantled under the terms of the Treaty of Barlat. (Fleet File Collection Vol.6)
