The Imperial battleship Quermark (Japanese: クーアマルク) was the flagship of Vice Admiral Wilhelm von Mückenberger.
Service history
The Quermark participated in the Second Battle of Tiamat as the flagship of the Mückenberger Fleet. On 5 December (745 UC (436 IC / 3545 CE)), while attacking the rear of the Alliance's 11th Fleet, it came under attack in its own rear by the Alliance's 5th Fleet. Vice Admiral Mückenberger ordered his fleet forward, attempting to escape by breaking through the 11th Fleet. However, the 11th Fleet turned to attack, and the Mückenberger Fleet was caught in a combined front and rear attack. Quermark attempted a clockwise turn to starboard upon the approach of an Alliance battleship, but was struck by 6 beams, which snapped the ship's spine, destroying it moments later.
