Adenauer (Japanese: アデナウアー) was an Imperial noble who held the rank of lieutenant commander in the Imperial Fleet, commanding the destroyer Hameln II in 791 UC (482 IC / 3591 CE).

History
A member of a baronial family, Adenauer originally served as the captain of a merchant ship before joining the Imperial military. He came to command the destroyer Hameln II, although he left most of the work to his executive officer, Lieutenant Hartmann Bertram. In August 791 UC (482 IC / 3591 CE), the Hameln II and the rest of its squadron was ambushed by an Alliance force while on patrol in the Iserlohn Corridor. Adenauer was wounded by a piece of shrapnel when a shot hit the destroyer, and command passed over to chief navigator Reinhard von Lohengramm (then Müsel), as the executive officer was not present on the bridge at the time. However, a mutiny almost broke out due to disagreements between Bertram and Reinhard while Adenauer was confined in the medical bay, though he was able to restore order once he regained consciousness.
