Service history
The Sindur, under the command of then-Vice Admiral Brauhitch, participated in Operation Ragnarok under the direct command of Reinhard von Lohengramm in 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE).
In the opening stages of the Battle of Vermilion, the Sindur came into grief when a foolhardy advance by Vice Admiral Isaak Fernand von Thurneysen sent both the Brauhtich and Thurneysen Fleets into confusion, allowing the Yang Fleet to inflict heavy damage on both. The Sindur survived, destroying an enemy battleship in the process. (LOGH: 'The Battle of Vermilion (Part One)')
Later in the battle, along with the majority of Duke Lohengramm's forces, the Brauhitch Fleet was encircled and devastated by the Yang Fleet. (LOGH: 'The Battle of Vermilion (Part Two)')
Although the Brauhitch Fleet was severely damaged, the Sindur managed to survive the battle, and would go on to fight in the Battle of the Corridor, where Admiral Brauhitch and his minesweepers were the first ships of Kaiser Reinhard's main fleet to engage the enemy, and were instrumental in creating a breach in the minefield blocking the entrance to the Iserlohn Corridor. (LOGH: 'The Battle of the Corridor: Kaleidoscope')
