Military career

Wöhler's early life and career are both unknown. As a Rear Admiral, Wöhler accompanied Lutz throughout Operation Ragnarök. When Lutz was appointed as commander of Iserlohn Fortress following its re-capture on 9 January 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE), Wöhler remained in his staff and was subsequently promoted as Vice Admiral. (LOGH: 'The Sounding of Gjallarhorn')

On 12 January 800 UC (2 NIC / 491 IC / 3600 CE), Wöhler was placed in charge of Iserlohn Fortress after Lutz departed with his fleet in an attempt to entrap the El Facil Revolutionary Reserve Force (EFRRF) that was hiding somewhere along the Iserlohn Corridor and planning to seize the fortress. However, this move was anticipated by the EFRRF, which then assaulted Iserlohn Fortress on 13 January and disabled its defence systems via a backdoor installed by Yang Wen-li into its computer system prior to his evacuation of the fortress in January 799 UC (1 NIC / 490 IC / 3599 CE). Wöhler tried to organise a defence within the fortress but was ultimately unsuccessful in preventing the EFRRF's landing party from seizing control of the fortress' defence systems. After the landing party fired the Thor Hammer against the returning Lutz Fleet, Wöhler realised that defeat was inevitable and decided to surrender. After securing safe passage for his surviving men to evacuate the fortress, Wöhler committed suicide by shooting himself at the head in the early hours of 14 January. To ensure that his suicide would not defile his surroundings, he actually spread a bed-sheet over the commander's desk to capture his blood before shooting himself. He was given a final salute by Julian Minci, Walter von Schönkopf , Louis Mashengo, Olivier Poplin and Bagdash.(LOGH: 'The Prodigal Sons Come Home')
